We are absolutely thrilled to have been awarded another very 'solid good' rating at our March 2023 Ofsted inspection. You can read the report here.

Hourly rates

From 1 September 2024 our hourly rate increased and we moved to a split rate rather than a flat fee.  From September, hours not covered by funding have been charged as follows:

• £5.95/hour for 2 year olds

• £5.45/hour for 3 & 4 year olds

 

Note that this charge is currently under review.  Any changes will be with effect from 1 January 2026.

Voluntary contributions

• To support the provision of healthy snacks and fruit we ask for a payment of £1 a week which parents can opt into when they join us. Parents can choose to opt out of this but will have to provide a healthy morning and afternoon snack in accordance to the updated EYFS guidance on healthy eating.

2026-27 Pre-school Year

 We continue to accept deposits for 2026-27 (there are a few spaces available). Please get in touch to secure a place/sessions required as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.  Don't forget to check eligibility for funding - see "Sessions, Fees & Funding" section of the website for more information.

 

We are a term time provider open 39 weeks per year and following the Academic Year dates as published by Gloucestershire County Council.

 

Autumn term: Term 1: 1 Sept to 23 Oct; Term 2: 2 Nov to 18 Dec 26;

Spring term: Term 3: 4 Jan to 12 Feb; Term 4: 22 Feb to 25 Mar 27;

Summer term: Term 5: 12 Apr to 28 May; Term 6: 7 Jun to 21 Jul 27

 

The Setting also has five INSET days per year - when the setting is closed for staff training.  Click on this link to see our Academic Calendar for 2026-27.

Deposits are being taken for this Pre-school year but spaces are currently limited. Please note there are no full-time spaces available. Please contact us to secure your child's place.
